1-2/3 sticks butter
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup flour, sifted
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts
Mix well after each addition - by hand. Pour into 9 x 9 greased & floured pan. Bake 300° 1 hour.
