CAKES - Short Cake

5 cups flour
2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
10 tsp. baking powder
1 cup to 1-1/2 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients, cut in butter. Add eggs & milk. Roll out on floured surface & cut into biscuits. Can use a wide mouth glass. Bake 350°, 20 - 25 minutes.  Makes 24.
